Rally racing,
run on real physics.

A six-speed gearbox with a real torque curve, grip that changes with the surface, and drift that comes from the car — not a button. Race solo against AI rivals, or open a room and take on up to seven friends online.

Stage 01 — The problem

Most browser racers drive like toys.

The Problem

Tap the gas, hold a direction, win. There's no drivetrain under the hood — just a top speed and a turn radius.

→

Dust Line

A torque curve drives a real gearbox, grip depends on the surface under your tyres, and a slide is something you catch — or don't.

Stage 02 — Features

Everything a rally stage needs.

Six systems, one car, zero downloads.

01

Real drivetrain

Torque curve → six-speed gearbox → final drive → wheel force. Shift points and engine braking actually matter.

02

Drift & grip model

Grip changes on sand versus road. An assist toggle catches slides for you — or turn it off and hold the drift yourself.

03

Online rooms, 8 wide

Open a room, send the four-letter code, race up to seven friends with live voice chat between cars.

04

AI with a racing line

Three skill-tuned rivals brake late, hold a line, and understeer wide when they push too hard — not rubber-band bots.

05

A leaderboard you can trust

Every start and finish is timestamped server-side, with a mid-race reaction check — no edited times, no scripts.

06

Play anywhere

Keyboard at a desk or touch controls on a phone — same physics, same leaderboard, no install either way.

Stage 03 — How it works

Green light in four steps.

  1. 01

    Verify once

A six-digit code to your email. Ten minutes, one time — it's what keeps the leaderboard honest.

  2. 02

    Pick your race

Solo against AI rivals, or open a room and hand the code to friends.

  3. 03

    Take the line

Six gears, real torque, a surface that bites differently in every corner.

  4. 04

    Cross it clean

Your time lands on the leaderboard automatically — no screenshot required.

Stage 04 — The dash

Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Speed, gear, and gap to the car ahead — always visible, never in the way.

Stage 05 — From the room chat

What actually gets said mid-race.

Caught the slide at the hairpin, corrected, still lost the position. That's the physics working, not against me.

— Online room, 6-car grid

Turned assist off on lap two. Regretted it immediately. Kept it off anyway.

— Solo mode, easy AI

Room code, four friends, one bad merge onto the front straight. Ten out of ten.

— Online mode, 4-car room

Stage 06 — Pricing

Free. No asterisk.

No paid tier exists — there's nothing to upsell you to.

$0 / forever
  • + Unlimited solo races against AI rivals
  • + Online rooms, up to 8 drivers, with voice chat
  • + Full leaderboard access, once verified
  • + Entry into the weekly Sunday tournament

Stage 07 — FAQ

Before you get in the car.

Do I need to download anything? +

No. Dust Line runs in the browser over WebGL — desktop or mobile, nothing to install.

Why does it need my email? +

One verification code, once. It's the only thing stopping the leaderboard from filling up with duplicate entries.

How does online racing work? +

Open a room and you get a four-letter code. Send it to up to seven friends — everyone races live over the same relay, voice chat included.

Can I actually play this on my phone? +

Yes — touch steering and pedals appear automatically on touch devices. Same physics, same leaderboard.

Is the leaderboard actually fair? +

Race starts and finishes are timestamped server-side, and a mid-race reaction check filters out scripted or edited times.

What's the Sunday tournament? +

A weekly ranking window on the same leaderboard. The live countdown and current window are shown in-game.

Finish line

Ready to hit the dust?

Free forever. No download. Verify an email, and you're on the grid.

Stage 08 — Support the project

Runs on curiosity, not a budget.

No ads, no paid tier, no data broker deals — just a server bill and spare evenings. Donations cover hosting and fund the Sunday tournament's prize pool for the winners.

Donate via UPI

Any amount helps — it goes straight to hosting costs and this week's tournament prizes.

Opened this from WhatsApp or another chat app? Its in-app browser can block the UPI app link — tap ⋮ (or Share) → "Open in browser" first, or just copy the UPI ID above.

Stage 09 — About

Built by one person.

No studio, no team — just a driver who wanted a rally game that respects physics.
